MOSCOW, Jul 24 (PRIME) -- Russia will have to redraw many contracts with the U.K. in case of a no-deal Brexit, Andrei Kelin, director of the European cooperation department of the Foreign Ministry, told PRIME on Wednesday.
“We will have to re-contract many agreements in many areas, which will be of a bilateral nature, not mediated by the E.U.,” Kelin said.
On Tuesday, Boris Johnson was elected as the leader of the U.K. Conservative Party. Prime Minister Theresa May resigned due to problems with Brexit. Johnson called Brexit until October 31 one of his priorities.
